The Consulate General’s GAD Focal Point Officer (GFPO), Ms. Jacqueline A. Cuevas, served as the resource speaker who discussed the following: 1.) Gender issues in the DFA and the re-examination of the personnel’s gender expertise and competence; 2.) DFA’s GAD objectives, programming and implementation cycles; 3.) Information and knowledge management, and gender equality policy; 4.) Decision-making, staffing and human resources and organizational culture; and 5.) Work unit’s perception of achievement of gender equality.

The echo training was conducted to ensure that Post’s officers and personnel are fully informed of the Department’s GAD thrusts, initiatives and policies. END
